Banana Ice Mist

I saw this product at a local produce store.

If I add everything, what do I need the mix for?

  • hehee...that is weird!and don't even tell wat it costs!

By Blogger teacup, at Wed Sep 13, 10:14:00 PM 2006

  • the cost of the ice mist thing is $21.50 per package ....
you have made your point there, why call it mixed drink when you have to add the ingredients yourselves.. or maybe, thats why they didnt name it "instant" banana ice mist

By Blogger Nee, at Thu Sep 14, 04:11:00 AM 2006

  • hee hee...tell me also...this might just be a good way to make money!!

I'll start selling empty packets with instructions "just add cornflakes, milk, sugar and bababas!"

    ;)

  • I suppose the mix is for the 'Frosty' part of the drink. Are you sure that it isn't Tide or Gain or something like that?

By Blogger Anu, at Thu Sep 14, 06:10:00 AM 2006

  • well the mix could be a thickening agent or a cementing substance that holds bananas milk and ice to gether....

By Blogger La vida Loca, at Thu Sep 14, 06:38:00 AM 2006

  • This must surely contain the RDA of mono-ethoxylated diglycirides, calcium propenate, ethanol, and other sundry chemicals, dyes, and preservatives that you just can't find in a fresh banana and a glass of whole milk.

By Blogger my life...., at Thu Sep 14, 11:07:00 AM 2006

  • maybe mix in the powder form...and mixing might be refered to the mixing water with the powdered mixture

  • Did you hear about the dehydrated water? May be you should add this mixture in that to have the perfect banana ice mist.Really love the innovative designers of these products. They restore my faith in the usefulness of the usual IT crap we churn out year after year.

  • Ha ha, rather funny!

  • you know... only you would notice these products and then shoot pics of them!!!!

By Blogger the mad momma, at Fri Sep 15, 11:59:00 PM 2006

  • hmm.. the million dollar question: How many ppl buy it without realising that they are making their own banana shake?

By Blogger How do we know, at Sat Sep 16, 03:41:00 AM 2006

  • Maybe there is some magical, flavored chemical reaction that happens? Maybe the mix is the key to enjoyment? Now you'll never know will ya??

By Blogger Heather, at Sat Sep 16, 05:38:00 PM 2006

  • i'm with 'i' - the bag's full of mist. i'm sure it makes a pleasing 'pfft' noise when opened - just make sure you're aiming it at the glass, or the magical mist will disappear. then all you'll be left with will be banana ice - and what good would that be? :o)

By Blogger shalini akhil, at Sun Sep 17, 04:26:00 PM 2006

  • LMAO!! Sure makes you want to buy it to find out.

  • keshi:
I found it funny that the product wants you to put in all you need

to make a banana drink. What does the mix have to add!

    itchingtowrite:
You know, I forgot to check where it is made! I should've.

    yashita:
Haha! I didn't check the price either. I should have.

    drama diva:
LOL. You are right. It's not "instant" which means you make your

own drink and pay them the price just for the fun :)

    shadow in the moonlight:
    Oh thanks so much!
The kid, hmmm, what can I say. He is 18 months old. The other day

I scolded him for dropping the banana on the floor. Then I

accidentally dropped the banana myself. He laughed hysterically

for half hour. For his age, I think he learnt too much sarcasm

    from my already :)

    nee:
hehe. exactly! I was curious too, but didn't dare to try it :)

    chandni:
    LOL@the the empty packet idea.

    anu:
ROFL! You may be right. You can beat Tide when it comes to Froth!

    la vida loca:
ha ha. You could be right. I hope it's not real cememt :)

    gnightgirl:
LOL. Exactly, unelss you add such mixes, where will you get your

    dialy dose of toxins?

    mary poppins:
Incidentally, the produce store is either mexican or puerto rican

    :P

    my life:
It's not necessarily wrong but it's just funny. The product seems

to want you to add everything you need for a banana milk ice drink

    :)

    pallavi:
    :)

    shreemoyee:
Well, what are camera phones for? ;)

    si:
Thank you! I need to buy Bryan lunch or something :)

    i:
he he. I didn't think of that! Of course, it did say, "Banana ice

mist". Yep, it might add some smoke (and mirrors) :)

    bishu:
lol@dehydrated water :) I guess we software people do invent

software equivelant of this stuff :)

    sinusoidally:
    :)

    the mad momma:
he he he. What can I say, I am committed to spread the joy around :)

    how do we know:
They are not only making the drink themselves, but also spoiling it by mixing whatever that packet contains!

    h.e.eigler:
Yes, thankfully, I will never know :) A few things are worth to remain mysteries in life :)

    shlinki:
ROFL. That is probably what the customer service if we call them, "Did you point the packet at the glass? We are sorry sir, we can't help it if the product is used wrongly!" :)

    iiz:
I resisted the temptation, with my wife's help ;)

  • at first I thought so too..but later I realised it's just an ingredient to make a Banana drink better...sounds dumb I know LOL!

    Keshi.

By Blogger Keshi, at Mon Sep 18, 06:04:00 PM 2006

  • hehehehehe

By Blogger dumbdodi, at Fri Sep 22, 09:26:00 AM 2006

  • Arey, u should have bought it!!Maybe something magical would have been in it...
How can u say till u try it!!!!

By Blogger Neha, at Sun Sep 24, 11:28:00 PM 2006

  • lol!!!! It's like that banana shake powder I used to buy at Shaw's in Boston. Add bananas, milk and ice. The powder only add some sort of flavor and thickness. But it was yum. Sigh. I CAN'T do this food talk anymore. I'm on a DIET for Christ's sake!!!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at Fri Sep 29, 10:07:00 AM 2006

  • so don't leave the question hanging there! What DO you need the mix for?! Tell, tell, do tell...:-D
